the japanese are so amazing.
hahahhha! after getting hooked onto bleach again, i rewatched the Bleach Soul Sonic videos where the voice actors (seiyuu in japanese, literally translated to 'good voice') did live voice overs to pictures/videos of their characters. some of them are SO good.
the cool thing about watching live voice overs is that everything's in the mind. it's all about imagination. so everyone watches, in fact, a different show in each live voice act. amazing.
and that's what makes too much anime unhealthy. lol. too much imagination. you know how anime fans squeal about these 2d characters being so cool, handsome etc. and you're like what the heck, it's just cartoon?! they practically personify the character as a real human. the craze spreads from the anime character to the owner of its voice. it's just surreal to watch the seiyuu in action.
in japan, the anime business is big. not just for the tv station, retailers, manga publishers, cosplayers, radio stations... but also for the seiyuus. most of these seiyuus aren't just seiyuus, they also sing, they act (in films/musicals), host radio programmes, they do everything, really. damn talented.
if u watch naruto, did you know the seiyuu was a girl? hitsugaya in bleach is also really a girl. man, and i just found that Light in deathnote has the same seiyuu as zero in vampire knight!! And ichigo in bleach is also tidus from final fantasy.
For all the bleach episodes i've watched (minus fillers), bleach is fantastic. one of the most popular ones here too, other than naruto. bleach has its own radio programme, own rock musical, anime, magazine... on top of the original manga. tite kubo must be filthy rich laaaa.
i wanted to write this cz i was listening to this song by zero's seiyuu, mamoru miyano. it's his single or something, and its funny cz i was picturing a cartoon character i know singing it...
if you have never watched this episode of kang xi about voice actors, you should. it's hilarious!
