apple fragrance

nostalgia comes from two ancient greek words, nostos and algos. nostos means returning home, and algos means pain. it's a memory that is almost painful, yet you want to return to it.


something i learnt from my lectures. i like how it sounds. i only came across the word 'nostalgia' in p5/p6. it described an emotion i had been trying to find a word for. i like the way it's pronounced, its sound and its meaning. it's something we all experience at one pt of time, and this word sums it all up.

i also like walking on the empty streets of old quarter at 2am.

like listening to great music.

like singing. no, make it love. wish i were there to sing at the party too. sera, the red-nosed reindeer! our favourite song!

like having a little alcohol.

like the apple fragrance.

like sitting by the lake.

like bargaining.

like watching the cars and people go by.

but i think i like being home more.
