Việt Nam
suddenly very excited about this upcoming trip!!!! and having this crazy idea of going again in december, but this time with the malay dance juniors bringing us around! my gosh. i should really suggest this to the rest... i think this time there probably wont be much opportunity to spend time at the places i wish to spend longer at, or be there at the right time.
after attending the gip talk, i'm so tempted to go to Sapa to trek some mountain!! but it's a 9h train ride from Hanoi. geee. will anyone be on to do that on a free day? lol!
Halong Bay! even more excited about that. for some strange reason. haha. i imagine it to be really beautiful. how about kayaking there?? =D
also wanna take their bus, it's apparently comfortable and fast! but their routes can be confusing.
Hoan Kiem Lake, as recommended by a junior!
and Ho Tay/West Lake and he says: eat their icecream! *eyes light up*
catch a movie there at Megastar, costs abt...5 sing dollars??
visit one of their bars. =) and try Bia Hoi! Bia Saigon!
and he says, DO NOT STAY OUT AFTER 10. if you want to live. o.O HAHAHA.
at hanoi old quarter, explore all 36 streets. each street is different. =D but we're only brought to 4 streets...
quoted from wikitravel:
You may see a tourist standing on the road for 5 minutes without knowing how to cross it. Traffic in Vietnam is a nightmare. Back home, you may never witness the moment of crash, seeing injured victims lying on the road, or hearing the BANG sound. Staying in Vietnam for more than a month, you will have fair chance of experiencing all these.
how nice. lol!
