yiruma
came across this pianist called yiruma. oh man. i so feel like buying his album. it's damn bloody nice. u really close your eyes, listen and dream when you listen to his songs. =)) search for him on youtube! meanwhile im gonna search for his album. i think he composes his songs, im not too sure.
he should write songs for final fantasy man. he rocks!
oh jz did research on him on wiki. HE'S MARRIED TO MS KOREA! hahaha cool. so good she gets to listen to him play piano everyday! cant stop listening to his piano songs. =)) addiction.
pondered while listening to his songs. in a selfish and childish way, sometimes, we want our friends to ourselves.
when i make new friends, my friends make new friends too when we all introduce one another. as things turn out, sometimes our old friends become close friends with our new friends because their personalities match better. you become an in-between. someone who disappears into the background with time. then you think, what if i hadn't introduced them to each other? would it have changed things? would they have become such close friends, if i had this new friend to myself for a longer time so that i get to know him/her better? now this friend is lost to another friend, complains the selfish other half. no, he/she stole my friend, the childish half screams.
then the cycle repeats. this new friend introduces your old friend to more friends, and they form a fun group and you diminish even more. selfish little thoughts!
but you accept that yes, some people are just meant to stay friends forever and ever. some people remain good friends, but never the closest. some people are simply acquaintances, a hi-bye and fullstop. perhaps this person was never meant to be one of those who will stay with you right till the end.
there's never YOUR friend, because as facebook proves, you have mutual friends with every single bloody person on your list.
a passer-by in your life who may or may not have left an impression.
i guess if some of these passers-by made effort to try to know someone better, a friendship can progress from being an acquaintance, to good friends, and perhaps close friends.
reminds me of what a long-time friend said, and she totally hit the bull's eye. she practically spelt out what was on my mind, something i couldnt figure out for a while.
still, grateful for all those around me.
