surfer
tonight must be the busiest night of my life. looked for books to read online. watched a documentary on central at 10. 11 to 12, i was surfing between 3 channels. central, for jigoku shoujo anime. chan 5, for nip tuck. suria, for anugerah band. after that, i youtubed for the mass games.
documentary was about overfishing. makes me totally not wanna touch fish at all. it gets highly complicated as it moves from problem to problem...because of overfishing, we have a problem. when we try to solve this problem, we have another problem. however, this problem is also caused by several other problems. hence, we get problems built upon problems and we end up with a lot of problems. its highly depressing... made me wanna watch finding nemo again. for some reason.
one thing they emphasized on was that fishing, catches not only what the fishermen want, but everything in the way of net. for 1 tonne of prawns, they sacrifice 15 tonnes of other fishes. they dump the dead and unwanted fish back into the oceans. anything can be caught in the nets. corals 3m high from the seabed, whales, giant turtles, small fish that arent needed...and that we're going deeper and deeper as the fish in the shallower waters deplete. makes u go eek. i mean...who eats those really scary-looking deep-sea creatures.. apparently people do...

nip tuck. picked it up halfway from the story last week...so i wasnt really understanding it. besides, anugerah was more interesting...
anugerah band. what can i say? better than superband lorrr. out of the bands i watched tonight, putra was really the best. but a little too dramatic. but true, the lead singer is quite goodlooking ahaha as the judge said. ah, are you thinking, yanjun understands malay? actually they talk a fair bit of english. anw i watched anugerah in the past too, i found it much better than superstar too. *fangirl screams FAUZI!* anugerah band has much much much better singers than the chinese one. serious. even better than milubing. but man, at least one guy out of every band has long (and straight) hair. *envy* even the judge has long hair. and if im right the female host is called nurul. and yes she's bad. even tho i dont understand malay...jz by watching her i know she's a noob at hosting. all the incoming smses to the show were like "nurul = boredom", "nurul sucks!!" lol. anw the lead singer of putra reminds me a vampire...he'd look better without those sideburns.
which brings me back to the book recommendations. everyone recommended twilight series by stefenie meyer. a vampire book. oh man. something's wrong with me, ive been into too many vampys. but i prefer reading books about the supernatural. smth with lots of fantasy. or, non-fiction books. or, a really engaging mystery book. call me boring.
finsihed reading confessions of a shopaholic. nope, not my kind of book. heard it will be made into a movie. *raises eyebrow* hope it will be good. maybe it will be funny.
oh yes, mass games. its crazy. 20,000 students to form a video wall by holding coloured cards. and idk how many performers, with every single of them in sync with one another. watched the famous documentary. its depressing how they ripped the young of their individuality, to be taught to think, move and act as one, to be highly disciplined, to be taught not to oppose. its even more depressing to know how they brainwashed them. as one yt comment went: " What if one of them messed up. They would probably walk away crying and then be shot. " i loled at the sarcasm. watch the mass games here.
