8 hours
it was 8 hours of nonstop singing. we did it! haha. but im suffering from a sorethroat now... aarrhhh.and got hooked onto apologize. the tune is SO stuck in my head. came home and slept for 4 hours. keep getting disturbed from sleep so annoying!!!!!!
watched Last Friends eps 4. oh my it's getting damn exciting.
it's abt this group of friends dealing with the problems of domestic violence, homosexuality, scars from childhood and loneliness. stars the girl from Proposal Daisakusen, acting as a victim of domestic violence (michiru) , inflicted by Ryo (sousuke) , who acted in One Litre of Tears as the male lead. her lesbian childhood friend Ruka, acted by Ueno Juri who was nodame in Nodame Cantabile, is interested in her and tries to protect her from her violent boyfriend. Ruka shares a house with three other ppl, one of whom is a hairstylist who suffered a trauma from his childhood and leaves him with a phobia of sex. This hairstylist is acted by Eita from Nodame Cantabile as well... i havent watched Nodame live action but i think he's the male lead. (I've found out he acts as the violinist!) anw this guy developes a liking for Ruka and in turn tries to protect her.
it sounds complicated, but it's easy to figure out. Throughout the 4 episodes they kept mentioning the death of someone, but havent revealed who...
for those who plan to watch..spoiler ahead! its quite obvious the one who died was Ruka. and takeru also mentioned that her protectiveness towards her precious friend (michiru) was foreboding. so i guess while she tried to protect michiru from sousuke she died..michiru also mentioned she wont be able to see ruka anymore in the first eps, where she was seen pregnant. throughout the 4 episodes theyve been hinting at ruka's death, and only takeru and michiru's thoughts are narrated, which largely involves ruka. takeru was probably sexually abused by his sister...and michiru is just plain stupid. her character is so annoying. and sousuke is psychotic.
but apart from the story itself, the cast is really great. ESPECIALLY ueno juri. im so surprised to see her acting in this drama. cz i didn't think she was a good actress. but oh my she proved me wrong. this character is like miles apart from her Nodame persona. she really understood her role very well. every detail is there, except sometimes she emotes like a girl. u'd really think she's a lesbian/tomboy in real life. she deserves an award for this role haha~ very very very impressive. and ryo is another one. my god. he scares me. he already looks solemn enough with those sad eyes. and now as sousuke, he's creepy. all the things he does. gosh. and eita, another good actor. as for proposal daisakusen girl...oh well. it's easy to act as a victim. michiru is a dumb girl.
