it's 1.30 am and im watching michael jackson on youtube.
hahaha sounds kinda creepy. like watching a horror movie in the middle of the night.
but nah. its not that bad...that guy is amazing. it isnt the first time i'm searching for his vids on yt..not the first time i'm honestly fascinated and impressed by michael jackson. it's hard to imagine how successful he had been, how he shaped the pop culture and his impact on music now. it's just sad that he went from black to white, honestly he looked better black, and it's equally sad how his image has eroded over the years, from the success he used to be.
firstly he's a FANTASTIC dancer. like SUUUUPER good!

watch it...it's wow. his technique is superior lar. just watch those legs...so nimble. and those spins, omg! it's super sonic speed and it's REAL. i mean, it's not fast-forwarded, and can u imagine if it looks THAT fast on video, how fast it is in real life? he must have looked like a blur. omg... and all the robotic moves omg. after a while it get repetitive, cz it's the michael jackson style... but still, he infects worldwide up till today...and all the combined moves with his dancers...so clean and neat. and there was this particular part in smooth criminal MTV, he moved at such a fast speed but he managed to lock every angle nicely. OH MY GOD. and his kicks reach past his hip. thats scary. i can't do that... >< its not the leg straight and kick upwards like some ballet move, its the knee close to chest then kick out move. THAT IS HARD! he must be damn flexible.
next his songs. i like his songs leh. hahha..i like smooth criminal. although it doesn't make much sense to me, but it's so catchy. "ANNIE ARE U OK?!" lol! the whole chorus repeats that LOL. "ANNIE ARE U OK, WON'T YOU TELL US, THAT YOU'RE OK ANNIE?" she'd better be fine so he would stop asking... and i LOVE that MTV. the 45 degree lean! anyone remembers Moonwalker? it's a MJ show...i used to like it so much when i was really young and i watch it every time...a few years back i watched it again, then i realised how weird that show was. >< lol. it was just weird. he turned into cars and robots and i didn't know what the whole plot was about. but the dancing and singing was good in there lol. i like Billie Jean too. "Billie Jean, not my lover..." that song was in my MP3 ok! haha! it's those kind of songs that once you hear it, you're addicted. and i liked thriller MTV hahahahaha he turned into a werewolf. i like "the way you make me feel"...dirty diana... and earth song. i LOVE earth song. i don't know why.. i first watched the MTV when i was very young and waahh... felt so much for our environment. LOL. "what about the sun...what about the rain...." the melody is super nice. one of my fav MTVs...and some 'childhood' song...i can't say he was the best singer, but he was good. he composed billie jean leh. and it's one of my favs. heehee. i liked 'scream'...the one he sang with janet jackson. that was goooooood. what about "they don't care about us"??? i'm sure everyone has heard it before...'you are not alone'? 'heal the world'! i like that song sooooo much! 'man in the mirror'! but i hated I'm Bad. LOL. makes no sense to me. Who's bad?
but yeah. he's a legend, he will remain as one. he's very much faded and gone today, but he was really King of Pop to me...wahaha.
